Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the CB350C Special Edition in the country, expanding its mid-capacity retro lineup. Priced at ₹2.01 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), the Special Edition sits at the top of the CB350C range and brings fresh cosmetic touches while retaining the same proven mechanical package.
Design and Styling Updates
The Special Edition carries forward the CB350C’s classic roadster-inspired design but gets a number of exclusive cosmetic upgrades. These include:
- A bold CB350C logo and “Special Edition” badging on the fuel tank.
- Striped graphics on the tank and fenders for added flair.
- A chrome-finished rear grab rail, replacing the standard black unit.
- A split seat available in black or brown, depending on the chosen colour.
The bike is offered in two striking shades — Rebel Red Metallic and Matt Dune Brown — both of which complement its retro character.
Engine and Performance
Underneath the refreshed look, the Special Edition remains mechanically unchanged. It is powered by a 348.36 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces around 20–21 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 29.5 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. The motor is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and comes with an assist & slipper clutch for smoother gearshifts.
The engine is E20 fuel compatible and complies with the latest BSVI OBD2B emission norms, making it both eco-friendly and future-ready.
Features and Technology
The CB350C Special Edition is equipped with a mix of modern features and classic touches. Highlights include:
- Dual-channel ABS for enhanced braking safety.
- Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) to manage rear wheel slip.
- A semi-digital instrument cluster with Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS) for Bluetooth connectivity and navigation.
Price and Availability
The Special Edition is priced slightly higher than the standard trims:
- CB350C DLX – approx. ₹1.97 lakh
- CB350C DLX Pro – approx. ₹2.00 lakh
- CB350C Special Edition – ₹2.01 lakh
Bookings are now open across Honda BigWing dealerships, with deliveries set to begin in the first week of October 2025.
Rivals and Market Position
With this launch, Honda aims to further strengthen its foothold in the competitive mid-capacity retro segment, where the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa 42, and Yezdi Roadster remain strong contenders. The CB350C Special Edition brings a balance of Japanese reliability, modern features, and old-school styling to appeal to riders looking for a premium yet practical classic motorcycle.
