Owning a home is a dream for millions of Indians, and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) 2025 is making that dream a reality. With government support of up to ₹1,20,000, eligible families can now build a safe, permanent home and enjoy a better quality of life.
What is PM Awas Yojana?
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a flagship scheme of the Government of India launched with the vision of “Housing for All”. The scheme supports families who do not own a pucca house by providing financial help to construct or upgrade their homes.

- PMAY–Urban (PMAY-U) for cities and towns
How Much Assistance Will You Get?
Under PMAY 2025:
- ₹1,20,000 financial assistance for beneficiaries in plain rural areas
- Higher assistance for hilly and difficult regions
- Money is sent directly to the beneficiary’s bank account in stages to ensure transparency
